Although it's HUGE that she came in second place in the Miss America Pagent, she fits 1st place a lot better. As far as I'm concerned....she IS Miss America!
Posted by: Todd at September 22, 2003 12:20 AMHi Maila:
Aloha!
Can I exchange email and phone number with your sister, Kanoelani, or your self?
A source confirmed my strong feeling that she is a Filipino American.
As you know, I write for a Philippine daily newspeper, Manila Bulletin, and some Asian American publications, Filipino Reporter (New York) and PhilippineTIME USA (Chicago) and Panahon Na (San Francisco).
I like to know the following:
1. The native town and province or city of her mother, Avon Rivera. Does her Mom speak regional dialect/s in the Philippines? If so, which one/s? And her date of birth, if possible.
2. Does Konoe speak or understand Filipino language?
3. Has she been in the Philippines? What year/s and what place/s? If not, does she have plan to visit her mother's motherland?
4. Does she like Filipino food? Which one/s?
5. Does Kanoe already has boyfriend? If so, will Kanoe would like to reveal the name and profession of her boyfriend? If none, how does she describe her ideal man?
6. Can you send me a family picture/s, that include/s Kanoe, her Mom, you and your sister. And perhaps, a picture that includes your Dad, too? I might be able to publish them.
7. Kanoe's date and place of birth?
8. Where did your Mom and your Dad meet?
If you want to get in touch with me by phone, you may call me at my Chicago telephone No. 773.283.5986. The best time for you to reach me is between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Central Time. Or you can reach me at my cell phone No. 773.329.7832 anytime. In either number, please leave your name and phone number, your message and the best time (Central Time/Hawaii Time) and day I can get to talk to you or to Kanoe.
Congratulations to your sister.
When I was watching the television program, I was expecting that she would be picked the Miss America.
I would suggest that you don't post your answers in your website since I will writing them in my news outlets.
I hope to hear from you soonest.
Warmest regards.
