Top 6@6

Hey!! I'm so excited. Getting music on the radio, especially my music, isn't an easy task. However, as I was flipping stations this evening, I came across KPOA, a Maui radio station and "Say What You Want" debuted on their top 6@6 countdown at number 6! Someone told me it was playing over there which I was very happy about as well, but making on the countdown...WOW! I can't believe it.

Apparently the countdown is decided by online requests. I know it's a Maui station, but if you'd like to vote, their website is: www.kpoa.com.

I'm really hoping KCCN, KINE, and other Oahu stations will also play my music. Thank you so much to those of you who are calling and making requests for my music. Ben and I are setting up meetings and interviews with the radio stations. We feel that songs like "Say What You Want" and "The Fall" are especially radio friendly. We're hopeful, but we also know it's a tough business. However, God is my steersman and I trust that he'll take my music where it needs to go and I will continue to promote, promote, promote. Thank you Jane, Abigail, Stephen and many others for having my back and believing in me. Let's also give Scott a hand for such a cool website and all the updates he writes!

By the way, I didn't make it to Gordon Biersch tonight. A lot of people have gotten sick since my party and I'm one of them. It's such a bummer, especially in this time of my life where I'm trying so hard to promote, but also work. Poor Ben, he's doing the gig anyway. But hey, I'm thankful for a night of rest so I can get better and get on the road again.

Less than a month, and you made it on the top 6@6, I'm not surprised at all.. you deserve it girl.. hope you're getting some R&R, Take it EZ

I'm so glad things are going so well for you. I have Dish Network and there is a channel that plays Hawaiian music. I keep listening, hoping to hear one of your songs there. How about it? Gets you an even wider audience there.

Wow, Maila, get well. After everything you've done in the last few months, your body finally said, "Eh, rest already ..."

You get well. We'll take care of the radio station requests, heheheh...

You deserve an R&R. And in no time you'll be back on your feet and kickin' the scene and on the radio stronger than ever. Take care.

I'd love to hear "More" on the radio. I listen to that song on repeat when I'm feeling stressed. I love it!
