I highly suggest doing Brunch On The Beach if you get a chance. I think the next one will be the first weekend of May. Kalakaua Avenue is turned into an intimate, outdoor cafe with tables and umbrellas and green turf is layed on the street (so it's not blazing hot).

It was great seeing Justin perform. I recorded with him years ago on his "Soothe You" album. It's neat to see an artist evolve and grow. He's incredibly talented.

We had fun performing for all the tourists and locals. God blessed us with one of the most beautiful, Hawaiian days in a while. The food was delicious and cheap! I've really learned to appreciate Waikiki. It's a little crazy and touristy, but I like to go there and think back to the days when there weren't high rises and the beach wasn't as crowded. Seeing it the way it is today doesn't make me mad though. If Waikiki wasn't something special, people wouldn't want to wander its streets or frolick in its waters. I often think about how many honeymooners go to Waikiki and how many people fall in love there. I also think about how many people save for a lifetime for the chance to visit Waikiki, even for just a few days. We're so blessed to have it right in our backyard, for free.

So, I encourage you to take a good look around every once in a while at where you live as though you're seeing it for the first time. There's always something new to see. There's always something to be thankful for.

I went to one of those before last year. It was when Forte performed. Did you sell some cd's there? That's what they did the time I saw them sing.

Cute pictures! Thank you for sharing! Couldn't make it to the brunch, but caught your show at Kincaids. Great crowd and I must say that Little Albert is a "hunk" himself! LOL...
