It's raining in town (even here in Eugene,Oregon).
Will you be selling your CD when it is available,
at the Point, in Kauai? We may have our son, Todd,
buy one there so you can autograph the cover.

Thanks again for 3 very enjoyable evenings:

Dear Maila - Bravo! You did it. "More" is absolutely wonderful. I could hear your heart loud and clear. I'm so proud of you. Back on Kaua'i, even before your Japan days, we all knew, as you reached for the stars, that you would be among the brightest. I'm not surprised it came so soon. Congratulations on keeping the courage and going the distance. Your journey upward has only just begun. Watch out world!

Aloha Maila,

My name is Jasmine, I don't know if you remember me but I introduced myself once at the Sheraton pool side during one of your performances. I took your biblical note you wrote me with your autograph into consideration, and it's funny because I am going through a really tough time right now figuring out dreams, goals, friendships, and last but not least trying to figure out love. Proverbs....When I looked it up, I realized that at that moment I was trying to carry everything in my own hands and figure it out while all I needed to do was trust god, and his angels, let go and give it to him. I'm finding true happiness slowly. Your CD More has inspired me in so many ways. It always uplifts my spirit, and actually I've always wanted to come out with a CD of my own someday, and call it SHINE. I'm glad God blessed me to hear you out. I look forward to seeing you again.
Thank You,
Jasmine

Hi Maila,

I enjoyed your musical performance at Brunch on the Beach last Sunday. You have such a beautiful singing voice. I listened to your new CD - thanks again for the autograph - and I want to say it sounds great! "More" and "You Are Home to Me" are my favorite songs on the CD. You have a new fan from the San Francisco Bay Area. Good luck with your CD. Best wishes.

Maila,

My wife and I have seen you and Ben perform at the Sheraton in Kauai. For the last two years on our vacation, we made an evening enjoying your music there. When we talked to you, I asked you why you weren't on American Idol and you said because you were too old. Well, last night we saw you on American Idol sitting in the crowd at the superdome, waiting to audition. Unfortunately, they did not show your audition. They chose 16 to go to Hollywood and only showed 12 that made it. We still did not see you. Are you one of the four they didn't show?

Waiting in suspense,

Steve & Lisa

I seen you at the Royal Hawaiian Luau on the MLK holiday about 2 weeks ago and you were nice enough to take a picture with me (my favorite picture from my trip, thanks). I think I heard you sing a traditional Hawaiian song called "Haleiwa Hula." Even though the weather was rainy and we had a "luau" indoors, when you started to sing that song, me and my friend stopped our conversation COLD! We never heard such a voice and sound, to me it sounded like 2 people singing almost at once. The range and versitility you must have to sing such a song like that, WOW I was VERY impressed. I purchased More in hopes of hearing that song again, but it was not on there. However I was impressed again mainly by the title song "More" and the gospel-like tracks "The Reason" and "What If It's True." I would love to have a recording of you singing Hawaiian songs especially the one you performed at that luau (how can I get that?). Thanks for helping to make a trip dampend by rainy weather and cloudy skies bright and sunny. Good luck in the future and I pray that you have great success!

Curious from another post, were you on American Idol recently?

Thanks Again,
Cralen Davis
