Ho'okena Nomination

Join me in congratulating Ho'okena on their recent Grammy nomination for "Cool Elevation." Last year I was invited to record "The Prayer" with them for that CD. Now I can say I was featured on a Grammy nominated CD! I can't even begin to express what a blessing it has been to be a part of such a special song and project. I would like to congratulate all the artists who have been nominated to the First Annual Grammy Awards featuring Hawaiian Music.
I have followed the grammy buildup for the last three years and even attended several of the meeting here in Seattle. It was very interesting to witness the progress. I also have a running report on the grammys on my website for Danny Couch. http://www.dannycouchfanaddicts.com/grammys.htm

Mahalo piha for the props to Ho'okena. You shouldn't be thanking Ho'okena. We should be thanking you. And we are. Your vocal and spiritual contribution to Cool Elevation are a big part of why we're heading to L.A. next month.
